The underrated yet delightful Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania possess some of the most tranquil and idyllic scenery in all of Eastern Europe, and this 11-day cycling tour through the 3 countries takes in such diverse settings as white sandy beaches, lovely and lush green forests, historical monuments and ruins, and the fun, quirky and postcard-pretty villages, towns and cities that dot the land.
The Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are European countries bordered by the Baltic Sea, with each containing unique cultural characteristics distinct from each other. All 3 are easily accessible from one another, and are geographically diverse.
Our adventure begins in the charming and alluring Estonian capital city of Tallin, where the 1st day will be spent exploring the delights of this captivating place, especially its world famous old town.
Our cycling begins in earnest the next morning, and days 2-5 of our trip will take us through the Estonian countryside, taking in such magnificent sights and sounds as the awesome islands of Muhu and Saaremaa, both featuring medieval castles and museums to go with amazing views out over the Baltic Sea, and the coastal city of Parnu, featuring lovely beaches and a myriad of artistic and cultural delights.
We arrive in Latvia on day 5, and until day 8 we will be exploring the buzzing capital city of Riga, forested valleys and peaceful rivers, and some of the best unexplored beaches in Europe, including a 33km stretch of white sand beach.
The last 4 days of our journey are spent in Lithuania, with highlights for many in this country including the World Heritage-listed Curonian Spit National Park, the mysterious Hill of Crosses, and yet more sensational stretches of astounding coastline.
Our 11-day odyssey ends in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius, a photogenic and interesting place that is the perfect locale for us to say our goodbyes.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
