Description

Join one of our team of guides on this 10-day Trek in the Valley of 10.000 smokes in Katmai, Alaska, for a remarkable adventure in a breathtaking place!

The Katmai National Park is located in the south of Alaska. It’s known for its incredible Valley of Ten Thousands Smokes, which is a large area that still has the scars of ancients volcanic eruptions. The name of the Park comes from its centerpiece stratovolcano, Mount Katmai, and another great feature is the high chance of spotting an Alaskan brown bear.

So this program is designed to take you to this dreamed area full of active volcanoes and white glaciers.

We’ll take a plane from ANchorage to King Salmon and then a floatplane to Brooks Camp, where we’ll spend the night and you’ll be able to watch some bears from a close spot. Than, on the next day we’ll take a bus to the 3 Forks visitor center, from where we’ll begin to walk.

Then for a week we’ll be hiking through the valley and we’ll do non technical climbs to different peaks, to look at the scenery from different perspectives!

So send us a request and let’s explore the Valley of 10.000 smokes together. We’ll guide you to the best spots in this amazing National Park.
