When it comes to great mountain ranges in the world, few can compare to the stunning beauty of the Dolomites of Italy. And on this trip, you will get to explore those mountains on a via ferrata.
Widely considered to be the birthplace of via ferrata, the Dolomites are home to some of the best via ferratas in the world. Dating back to the first world war, the history of via ferrata is almost as thrilling as the activity itself! Used as a means to gain better position during the battles between Austria and Italy, metal ladders and steps were fixed to various peaks. And now, many decades later, those same steps and ladders are used as a means to explore and enjoy some of the most beautiful peaks in the Dolomites.
There are different via ferratas you can choose from on this trip. They include the Mesules via ferrata in the Sella Group, which is the oldest via ferrata in the Dolomites, dating back to 1912. There is also the Cesare Piazetta via ferrata and the Tomaselli via ferrata, along with several others you can enjoy. And you can rest assured that regardless of which one you choose the experience and the views are unbelievable. You will even get to gaze upon the highest mountain in the range, the Marmolada (3,343m).
It is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition.
To join me on this via ferrata adventure in the Dolomites, just send me a request. I look forward to hearing from you and guiding you.
I can also take you on the Punta Anna via ferrata, in Cortina, on this full day trip.

Mountain Guide
I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.
I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.
Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

Enrico was an amazing guide!!! My husband and I tackled via ferrata Punta Anna in Cortina which was challenging and exciting. Enrico was very responsive and communicative upfront, detailing the route and what we could expect. On the day of he was an excellent instructor, supportive and patient. He helped us have the best possible time out on our first via ferrata in the Dolomites. He took a ton of photos and videos during our outing which he shared with us afterwards. When we mentioned we would be in the area for another week, he went above and beyond and gave us his recommendations for the best hikes in the area. They were spot on! We would highly recommend using Enrico as a mountain guide!!

Our guide Filippo was fantastic. We insisted on exploring the Delle Trincee which turned out to be outside the ability of our group. Filippo was patient and fun and helped us traverse several sections that matched our ability while keeping our spirits high. The equipment was excellent, the communication with the outfitter was excellent. If you're looking for a guide to help you explore the Dolomites, we had a great experience with Enrico and his team.
