This is a fantastic adventure that will take us to one of the most incredible places in the Chilean Patagonia: Laguna Triangulo. Enjoy this full day trek in the Alerce Andino National Park, near Puerto Montt. And discover a magical place in South America.
The Alerce Andino National Park is only 1 hour from Puerto Montt. Here, our journey begins trekking through enchanting forests, brimming with Coihue de Magallanes and Lenga trees. We’ll also encounter Alerces (Lahuen) trees, which are one of the oldest species on Earth. And the deeper we get into the trails, the trees will get bigger and more imposing. Some of them stand at 60 meters or more.
Some of the other surprises we’ll find here, include an impressive andean massif and more than 50 small and medium size lagoons. Moreover, we will be surrounded by magical sceneries. And it will be Laguna Triangulo, the spot in which we’ll spend more time, to get some rest.
It will be a simple route. So, it welcomes anyone that is able to walk for several hours. The path has signals all around and excellent infrastructure. And it will take us around 8 hours to complete it. We will depart at 9:00 a.m., finishing our traverse at about 6:00 p.m.
What’s more, it is open all year round, prior checking the weather. However, it is during the summer when we can enjoy the most. As we could even go for a swim at the lagoon.
If you wish to join this wonderful trip, don’t hesitate. Request to book this trip today and let me guide you across this marvellous place.
