The Maroon Bells (4273 m) are definitely one of Colorado’s most recognized mountains because of their incredible pyramidal shape. On top of that, the South Maroon Peak offers a technical snow climbing route for aspiring mountaineers during most of the year and a classic climbing experience in summer. The latter route has an extra feature. When weather conditions allow it, we can go through the Bell Cord Couloir that separates the south and north Maroon Peaks and continue to the summit of the South Maroon Peak via the amazing North West Ridge.
Our trained and certified mountain guides know this area better than anyone. And the day before the beginning of the trip you will get to discuss your desires and the appropriate plan to approach this adventure with them.
The whole program will last approximately 8-13 hrs, depending on your fitness level and the weather conditions. We’ll give you all of the technical equipment necessary as well. However, you must bring your own food and water.
So send us a request and lets start planning your adventure at the Maroon Peak!
