Slovenia is a skiing destination that is yet to be discovered. On the plus side, this means uncrowded pistes, untouched snow and an unusual quiet for a skiing location. On this trip planned just for you, we’ll discover some of the best runs in the country with picture-postcard views. Join me!

There are many skiing options in Slovenia. Together, we’ll choose the best fit for you depending on your goals and skill level. Some of the spots we can visit include the Triglav National Park, the Julian Alps, Bled, Kranjska Gora and many others. Slovenia is also full of castles, charming villages, stunning forests and outstanding views. Furthermore, to cap a day out in the snow, in the evening you can enjoy the unique local cuisine.

This is a perfect trip for either beginners or advanced skiers, with options for all tastes and levels. Because of the many alternatives, I prefer to offer personalized trips. I’ll plan the itinerary based on your preferences and availability. Also, I can also help you arrange hotels booking, equipment rental or whatever other detail you might need to take care of.

Aspirant Guide

I am an aspirant IFMGA mountain guide, born in 1987, from Vuhred, now living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I have been discovering mountains from an early age. I started climbing at the age of 15 and now it has become a way of life.

During my active years as an alpinist, I have been on four expeditions to the Andes, Himalaya and China and I was nominated for the Piolet d’or for the ascent to Xulian Feng in China.

I like all types of alpine activities such as alpine climbing, sport climbing, ski touring, etc. Overall I like to spend my time in the mountains. That is why I decided I not only want to climb for myself, but to guide other people, so they can experience what I have until now.
My mission as a mountain guide is to provide you the safest way to discover mountains, so that you can explore the vertical world in a different way. I will guide you to more or less populated mountain trails and climbing routes.

The experience truly was 5*, the scenery of 7 lakes valleys was just breathtaking. Igor was amazing guide, he really took care of us and explained about the local culture and nature while drinking few beers at the hut & waiting the sunset:) Especially the "fast route down", via ferrata and meeting the mountain goat was very memorable!
