Would you like to spend one day in a beautiful unexplored area in the Dolomites? Come with one of the guides on our team to this ski mountaineering trip in Val Popenna Alta, in the Italian province of Belluno.
Situated near Cortina d’Ampezzo and Lake Misurina, Val Popena Alta is a fantastic valley from where you can contemplate and discover several mountains and natural spots. On this 1-day program, we invite you to enjoy ski mountaineering on an easy route in this area.
During the itinerary, we’ll ascend and descend on the same trail. As we move forward into the valley, we’ll get to a unique vantage point and see the spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, such as Piz Popena.
As for the duration, we’ll spend 3 hours on the ascent and 1 on the descent. The itinerary is not demanding, so it’s not mandatory to have experience. However, consider that we’ll face an elevation gain of 550 meters, therefore having a good physical shape is important.
So does this activity sound attractive to you? Then get in touch with us by sending your request to make your reservation. We’ll be glad to show you around this beautiful place.
Another ski mountaineering option could be this program in Rocchetta di Prendera, near Mount Mondeval, also in the Dolomites.

The trip itself and Refaelo the guide was great and they even gave a refund for my daughter who didn't participate at last due to sickness. But All the corresponding before the trip was bad. No details were given about the ferrata and not even about the meeting point and time. It took a lot of time to get answers for my questions and sometimes didn't get any.
