Situated between Cortina d’Ampezzo and San Vito di Cadore, Rocchetta di Prendera is a summit in the Dolomites that reaches an altitude of 2,496 meters. This simple ascent allows us to enjoy a nice outing and contemplate great views from its main surrounding peaks. If you love ski mountaineering, you can’t miss this fantastic opportunity in northern Italy.
First of all, we’ll begin our hike on Passo Giau (2,236 meters). During the ascent, we’ll go across Mount Mondeval and Lastoni di Formin and get to see beautiful snow-covered landscapes. In addition, we’ll explore some of the natural spots in the area, such as the Boite Valley.
Although this program is easy, take into account that we’ll spend 3 hours on the ascent and 2 hours on the descent. Also, we’ll face an elevation gain of 450 meters. That’s why it’s important to have some prior ski mountaineering experience and a good physical shape.
So, would you like to take part in this program in Rocchetta di Prendera? Then all you have to do is send the request and make your reservation. You’ll love this fantastic area in the Dolomites!
We also lead a nice ski mountaineering program in Corvo Alto. Check it out!

The trip itself and Refaelo the guide was great and they even gave a refund for my daughter who didn't participate at last due to sickness. But All the corresponding before the trip was bad. No details were given about the ferrata and not even about the meeting point and time. It took a lot of time to get answers for my questions and sometimes didn't get any.

Our guide Jacomo was incredible! He told us so much about the mountains and the area, about the fauna and the history of ferratas. We had an amazing time with him.
