On this 1-day ski mountaineering program, I would like to take you to Croda Rossa, a beautiful mountain in the Sexten Dolomites. At an altitude of 2,965 meters, this peak is near Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the province of South Tyrol, northern Italy. Here, we’ll find Castel de ra Valbones, the fantastic route where our trip will take place.
We’ll start this trip in the beautiful woods above Malga Ra Stua Refuge. From there, we’ll begin a nice ascent and reach an area from where we’ll catch amazing views of the surrounding peaks. Besides, we’ll enjoy mountaineering with the snow at our feet. It’s definitely an experience you can’t miss!
Please, keep in mind that, although this program is not difficult, we’ll spend 3.30 hours on the ascent and 1.30 on the descent. Also, we’ll face an elevation gain of 850 meters during the trip. Therefore, it’s important to be physically fit.
If you find this program interesting, don’t hesitate to send the request to make your reservation. It will be a pleasure for us to lead you through the stunning Castel de ra Valbones route in the Dolomites.
Another option could be this freeride skiing program in Vallon de Ra Ola, in the Tofane mountains. Check it out!

The trip itself and Refaelo the guide was great and they even gave a refund for my daughter who didn't participate at last due to sickness. But All the corresponding before the trip was bad. No details were given about the ferrata and not even about the meeting point and time. It took a lot of time to get answers for my questions and sometimes didn't get any.

Our guide Jacomo was incredible! He told us so much about the mountains and the area, about the fauna and the history of ferratas. We had an amazing time with him.
