Description

Join me for a superb 1-day rock climbing experience in the Mont Blanc massif. This area is well known all over the world for its fantastic crack climbing routes, dihedrals and technical plaques in an amazing high altitude scenery.

From the charming city of Courmayeur, in the Aosta Valley, we can easily reach the Mont Blanc massif. There are plenty of exciting options for a great day climb. The climbing grades start from  4+ to 7a and 7b.

You can see below a list of modern and also more classic climbing routes we find in the Mont Blanc massif. They are listed in decreasing order of difficulty level.:

  • Aig. du Midi-Via Contamine ED-(7a – 5+ obbl.)

  • Pic Adolphe Rey (3536 m)-Via Bettembourg-thivierge TD+ (6b – 5+ obbl.)

  • Pointe Lachenal (3613 m)-Via Contamine TD+ (6a+ – 5 obbl.)

  • Aig. du Midi-Via Rébuffat TD (6a – 5+ obbl.)

  • Pilier Rouge dell’Aiguille de Blaitiére (3050 m)–Via Nabot Léon TD (5+ – 5+ obbl.)

  • Dent du Géant-Dente del Gigante (4013 m)-Via Geant Branché TD – (5+ – 5+ obbl.)

  • Aiguille du Peigne (3192 m)-Arête des Papillons D (5 – 4+obbl.)

  • Pyramide du Tacul (3468 m)–Via Ottoz D-(4+ – 4 obbl.)

So, you can choose to climb the peak that best adjust to your level and goals. Every climb will take us 1 day.

Please note these climbs are aimed at experienced climbers in very good shape. They are quite technically and also physically demanding, because of the altitude.

So, if you want to join me and enjoy a great climb in the mythical Mont Blanc massif, just send me a request! We can start planning this great climbing trip right away.

Stacia

We loved our guide and our adventure. She was very accommodating to our needs and nice to be around. I would totally book with explore share again.

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
