Welcome to the Tatras mountains of Poland and Slovakia. If you’re looking for some fun and exciting climbing in a picturesque location then you’ve come to the right place!
Situated on the border between Southern Poland and Northern Slovakia, the stunning Tatra Mountain Range is part of the greater Carpathians Mountains.
The highest part of the Carpathians, the Tatras see their tallest peak rise up to 2,655m at Gerlach Peak.
The Tatras hold a special place in my heart as they are where I honed my climbing skills. I was able to explore this region in great detail and have come to know its secrets.
We can climb in both the Polish and Slovakian sides, with many mountains to choose from, including; Gerlach, Łomnica, Wysoka, Lodowy Szczyt, Ganek, Kończysta, Mnich, Osterva, Jastrzębia Turnia and many, many more. There are long routes, short routes and they vary in technical difficulty so that you can select them depending on your ability.
If collecting peaks is not your primary idea and you like exposed, long skywalks, the Tatras offer you extraordinary ridges. A day on Martin’s Ridge on Gerlach, Mięguszowieckie’s Ridge, Widły’s Ridge, Batyżowiecki’s Ridge, Kościelce’s Ridge, Siarkany’s Ridge will definitely deliver incredible experiences.
Peaky points? Mnich, Igła in Patria, Igła in Osterva, Zadni Mnich, Ostry Szczyt, Żabia Lalka and Żabi Mnich, Wschodni Szczyt Żelaznych Wrót, Żabi Koń make the fabulous collection of granite peaks we may climb together enjoying summer conditions.
Or maybe you would like to climb a decent granite wall with the best rock quality? The east faces of Łomnica, Osterva, Szarpane Turnie or Wschodni Szczyt Żelaznych Wrót, the east face of Mnich, the south faces of Kiezmarski Szczyt, Jastrzębia Turnia, Wołowa Turnia or Zamarła Turnia or the north faced but pleasent climbing on Galeria Gankowa and Żółta Ściana are waiting for you.
Want to try the hardest of them all? Kazalnica won’t disappoint you…
No matter whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, there are plenty of fun and beautiful options here for you!
With a very small group of two I can keep a close eye on you throughout the day, both on your safety and technique!

Mountain Guide
I started my adventure with climbing in the early nineties. Through almost three decades, I have managed to reach hundreds of peaks and climb an uncountable numbers of routes all around the world. In Patagonia I climbed both Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy (and some more), I set up new routes in Karakoram climbing an unconquered peak there. I have enjoyed many climbs in Alaska, the Alps and the Dolomites, both in winter and summer. Still, the Polish Tatras hold a special place in my heart as these are the mountains that carved my climbing attitude and character. Winter is my favourite season there – wilderness and the alpine character of the mountains can deliver unforgettable experiences.
Mountain lovers can find a full variety of different challenges in Tatras – solemn granite peaks, demanding big-walls, interesting mixed-climbing, great off-piste areas and wild valleys waiting for ski touring fans. Although I have travelled the world in search of beautiful goals, I have been constantly coming back to fulfil my mountain passions in Tatras. And I am sure there is still so much more to be discovered there.
As an IFMGA guide and a seasoned climber, I invite you to discover mountains with me. Decades of exploration in that mountains have led me to who I am today – a professional mountain guide ready to share my mountain experience with you in Tatras or any other part of the mountain world.
Whether you want to climb a peak or ridge, ski off-piste or discover new places - I am here to help you make your dream come true. My point as a guide is to get you to safely fulfil your mountain dream. If you don’t have any yet – don’t worry, with my experience and your skills we will definitely find a suitable adventure for you!

Jakub was an excellent guide. I told him of my experience and he chose a perfect route. Demanding but fun and manageable. He also gave me a great history of the route and a wealth of information about the area.

Jakub was an excellent host and guide. He planned multiple routes each day to allow for any changes within the weather and conditions and provided a plethora of information regarding the Tatras, climbing and Polish culture to make the trip an immersive experience. Given Jakubs extensive climbing experience and as a climber myself, I learned a lot within the 3 days. Whether a complete novice or someone with experience Jakub tailors each trip to your experience and I would highly recommend his guiding services, and personally will be using Jakub to fulfil future climbing goals myself.

Jakub was absolutely brilliant. It was the first time climbing in the Polish Tatra's as well as in winter. I wanted to get a general idea and orientation of the Tatra mountain range. As a climber, I was very impressed with his guiding abilities, both as a climber as well as his knowledge of the history of the area as well. He organized every aspect of the trip down to the detail while maintaining a very comfortable and casual attitude about the day. His experience and ability as a climber was matched only by his fantastic personality and friendliness. I enjoyed our time and trip and will be looking forward to the next climb this summer!

We had a fantastic ski touring day with Jakub. The Tatras are fascinating mountains and at the same time a fairly severe environment and we felt comfortable doing this last -and more complicated- climb with the guide. We appreciated the fact that Jakub, besides being a great guide, is a real lover of these mountains and told us many things about this place and its history. We were also very happy with all the support of explore-share that really made all the steps easy. It is an experience that we certainly feel to recommend.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
