Have you ever wanted to test your chops against a professional snowboarder? Do you think you have what it takes to keep up?
If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you’re in luck! Join me for an epic day of snowboarding down the excellent pistes of Nozawa Onsen!
I’m currently ranked second in Japan for competitive snowboarding and am competing the the Freeride World Tour qualifiers.
The Freeride World Tour is a series of events in which the best skiers and riders from around the world compete both for individual wins and the World Champion title.
Tucked into the central Japanese Alps, Nozawa Onsen is a snowboarder’s paradise. The resort town has plenty of high-quality snow, not to mention, many gondolas and ski lifts. This allows us to maximise the amount of time that we spend out on the slopes and check out as many pistes as we can.
Once we’ve had our fill of the slopes and it’s time to call it a day, be sure to check out the nightlife and cultural attractions of this quaint and traditional village, which is rumored to be the birthplace of Japanese skiing.
If you choose to extend your trip, feel free to check out some of the surrounding resorts for more excellent pistes, including Madarao, Tangram and Togari Onsen.
Please remember that you need to be at least an intermediate snowboarder to participate in this tour. Take into account that you will need to be able to assess for yourself what you can or cannot do. It will be your responsibility to snowboard at your own level.
So what are you waiting for? Join me for a day or more of high quality snowboarding in this exquisite resort town in the Japanese Alps!
If you like the look of this trip then I think you will also enjoy a half-day of snowboarding in Nozawa Onsen with me!

Amazing experience with Myoko local. Go is knowledgable and passionate about the mountain and surrounding area, as well as being a very talented snowboarder.

First time snowboarding at a new mountain can be a little intimidating now multiply that feeling when you are doing it in a different country. That was not the case here, Go Biyajima made me feel like I was riding in my back yard. Go is an excellent rider and really made me feel like it was just another day on the mountain riding with homies. I hope this service gets to reach more people and they would be lucky to select Go Biyajima!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
