The Austrian massif of Arlberg stretches out across the states of Vorarlberg and Tyrol, and provide excellent opportunities for discovering the backcountry.
If you’re looking to explore Arlberg with a guide, then we can craft a tailor-made itinerary suited just for you. Perfect for families, friends, ski tourers or mixed groups of skiers and snowboarders.
Whether you’re a skier or a snowboarder, the wild Arlberg slopes provide breathtaking scenery to explore.
Arlberg is sprinkled with world-class resorts and regions, including St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs and Lech am Arlberg.
St. Anton has a long history of skiing that has remained strong all the way into the present. It hosted the Alpine World Ski Championship in 2001 and is constantly listed as one of the best regions for skiing in the world. Away from the excellent groomed runs, St. Anton is home to a great number of backcountry routes.
St. Christoph is a mountain hamlet, which in the 14th century a local shepherd built a hospice for travelers crossing the Arlberg pass. At 1,800 meters high, St. Christoph is one of the highest resorts in the Alps.
Stuben is a charming hamlet resting in Arlberg, where you can discover the origins of alpine skiing. Located in the heart of the massif, its accessibility is top-class and is arguably the region’s powder capital.
Zürs is particularly desired for its excellent backcountry skiing, and has been home to a number of Olympic champions. And with very few trees populating its slopes, there are clear views of the nearby peaks.
Lech am Arlberg is a ski resort that rests on the riverbank of Lech. Recent years have witnessed the resort become one of the world’s top ski destinations, and home to several ski champions.

We had two great off piste days with Florian from piste to powder, as our guide. Florian got the balance just right for our family (including two children aged 14 and 10). We skied some great off piste routes, including some steeper terrain and we also did some fun tree skiing, accessing places we would not have been able to reach on our own without a guide. Two excellent days. I would highly recommend Piste to Powder, and in particular our guide Florian.

My friend and I (both snowboarders with several backcountry trips under our belt) had a private guide for the day after 150cm+ snowfall and severe avalanche conditions. Our guide Stefan was excellent and very aware of reading the risk levels throughout the day. We got some amazing lines and Stefan was very professional and easy to talk to and guided us away from some of the riskier places. Would definitely recommend to all. We will definitely come back next year. Thank you!

I have been to Sankt Anton number of times to chase some off-piste lines and never hired a guide until now. We had two epic days but yet very different. One day of touring and even though the mountains were lacking snow our guide managed to find some fresh untouched lines. The second day was after it had snowed quite bit and we managed to ski untouched powder the whole day without doing any touring. I will definitely hire I guide again the next time I will be in Sankt Anton. Thanks for two epic days and great companionship Flo!
