Description

While not an enormous peak, Mount Tachioka (1,295m) is nonetheless a great source of wonderful multi-pitch rock climbing.

For a full day, we will be climbing on a 8 pitch route that will cover approximately 230 meters. The route will takes us along the left ridge of Mount Tachioka. Moreover, the approach will take only 15 minutes.

The views you will get during the climb and at the culmination of the climb are tremendous. You will get to see a beautiful valley, as well as the gorgeous, nearby Kayagatake peak (1,704m).

Our trip will begin at the Nirasaki Station on the JR Chuo Line at 8:40 am. From there, we will take the aforementioned short approach to the peak and begin climbing. The climb will take most of the day, but additional time will also be taken to provide you with instruction whenever the opportunity presents itself. Thus making this trip educational, as well as enjoyable.

Multi-pitch rock climbing is a great activity because it is something you can do anywhere in the world where there are walls to be climbed. As a result, it is a fantastic means to explore new places. And on this trip, I would be happy to show you a great part of Japan.

So if you would like to enjoy this day long multi-pitch adventure on Mount Tachioka, just send me a request. I look forward to hearing from you.

I can also take you rock climbing on various multi-pitch routes on this 2 day trip in the beautiful Japan Alps.
