Join me on this fantastic alpine traverse of Breithorn with amazing views of the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and many other 4000-meter Swiss peaks.
The route towards the Breithorn starts on rock and then turns into an arete. You must be experienced in the use of crampons since there will be many icy sections during the climb. As this is a 1-day tour, participants also have to be physically prepared. Otherwise, spending the night at a mountain hut (Refuge des Guides du Cervin) and doing the traverse in two days is an alternative.
Our starting point will be the Plateau Rosa. After 2,5 hours we’ll arrive to the trailhead. The first rock section is quite easy and leads to the Eastern Breithorn summit (4139 m). Then, we must face an aerial ridge to reach the Central summit (4160 m). Finally, an easier rock section leads to the Western summit (4165 m)
From there, we will make our way down to the lower part of the Klein Matterhorn and finally to the Plateau Rosa again. We will need 7 hours to complete this half crossing of the Breithorn.
If you are willing to traverse of Breithorn with me, contact me and book your place!
Check out this trip for an extra 2-day guided ascent to the Grivola Mountain, in the Italian Alps.

Mountain Guide
Born in Aosta in 1970, I am an aspirant mountain guide and a passionate climber. For me, the lightning strike came in while climbing Punta Tzan with some friends: from that day on, my whole life has been the mountains and practicing mountain sports and activities.
Among my most significant ascents are: Mattehorn, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Aiguille Verte, Monviso and Mont Maudit, among others. I will be happy to guide you around my home region!

Everything was perfect. We had to bring forward the trip due to weather conditions and Remy was very flexible. He made us feel comfortable along the climb and everything went very easily although it was only our second 4000 ascension. He's a very nice and pleasant person. I highly recommend him!

Remy was a superb guide, would really recommend him! Warm and friendly personality. Very professional and knowledgeable, made us (beginners) feel comfortable during the trip. We had a lot of questions beforehand, all communication was clear, fast responses and Remy was always available by mail or phone. Also fast response by Explore-Share. The Gran Paradiso was amazing, especially the views, climb tough but very doable. Next time I would go skiing down instead of hiking.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
