Description

Come to the stunning scenery of Soboba Mountain in Southern California for this one-day introduction to paragliding course!

Located just outside of Los Angeles, this beautiful spot is easy to get to and provides an excellent backdrop for our fun and informative day.

We will learn about kiting, which is the hardest, but most necessary skill needed in order to paraglide.

Kiting requires you to “build” your wings and get your muscles used to controlling the parachute above you. It is not an intuitive activity and therefore requires patience and persistence.

Once you have gotten the hang of this skill, everything else about paragliding will come more easily, which is why we will spend the day going over how to do this successfully.

Since you won’t be able to get out into the air by yourself after just one day of kiting, we will keep your spirits up by mixing in an assisted flight, which will leave you yearning to come back and continue mastering this exhilarating sport.
