Tucked into its southwest corner, the Squamish area of British Columbia provides the best place to learn the ropes of multi-pitch climbing. With slabs and routes for every type of climber, all in the serene Canadian country, few places are as alluring when it comes to multi-pitch climbing and mountain sports.

Your program is a perfect transition from single-pitch climbing. You will learn safe and fast belay transitions, two-rope rappel techniques, and more. You will also review some of the techniques and practices you have already learned, including belaying, anchor construction, and protection placement.

Rock Guide

I am an ACMG Rock Guide, I started guiding because I am very passionate about teaching people the technical side of climbing as well as the emotional achievements that come with challenging yourself and connecting with nature.

I have been climbing since I was a kid with my teddy bear clipped to my harness, and since then I have dedicated years to travelling, rock climbing, mountaineering, and improving my technical skills.

I have climbed El Capitan in Yosemite Valley 4 times, sent 5.12 in 5 different countries, and love combining the techniques from rock types around the world. I am also an Industrial Rope Access Technician and enjoy geeking out on the physics of rope systems.
