This 1-day introductory course to backcountry skiing promises to be a fun and memorable day, as I will lead you around some the best backcountry regions for beginners, where I will teach you the best skills and techniques to improve your confidence and allow you to enjoy this amazing activity, all in the picturesque setting of Mt Rainier, near Seattle, Washington.

Western Washington is renowned throughout the country for having some of the freshest, deepest and best snow for backcountry skiing around, with locations such as Steven Pass and Mt Rainier being some of the best.
