1-day extreme Roghel-Cengia Gabriella Via Ferrata

Join me on two challenging routes that directly link Berti and Carducci huts. This is the absolute highlight of the via ferratas in the Dolomites.

The length of both ferratas –Roghel, 2,560 meters long, and Cengia Gabriella, 2,470 meters long– shouldn't be underestimated. You will need good stamina. The two routes are only possible in combination and thus only suitable for ferratists with good physical strength.

The first one, Roghel, is the most demanding. Its first steps are already a challenge for climbers. Through jagged rocks equipped with fixed ropes and some steps we will reach the panoramic Forcella tra le Guglie, 2,450 meters high. Gabriella, the longest but less demanding ferrata, leaves room for wide, unique and evocative views. For the descent, you can count on climbing irons and poles. These will be especially useful in spring, when the ropes are covered with snow.

The hike takes a total of 7.5 hours, with a difference in altitude of 1,100 meters.
