Join me on this 1+ day ice climbing trip and I promise we will make memories to last a lifetime, as we ice climb amongst the beautiful landscapes and terrains of the idyllic and tranquil Vermont countryside, near such fantastic and fascinating locations as Stowe, Smugglers Notch and Bolton Quarry.
Located in the North of Vermont, the area around Stowe is renowned across the country as a veritable Winter and outdoor activity paradise, as its rugged and snowy terrains provide ideal conditions to indulge in numerous pursuits such as ice climbing, and the views on offer over the rocky and vast forests and valleys are second to none.
Over the course of the trip we will be heading to some of the most spectacular ice climbing areas in the Northeast, as the scenery and views we will be witnessing will take your breath away and have you reaching for your camera constantly.
The likes of Bolton Quarry, Bristol Cliffs, Smugglers Notch and Lake Willoughby are the pick of the best areas, where the sheets of ice we will encounter will provide challenging yet rewarding climbs, whilst also coming across ice caves and curtains that are truly unique, not to mention the seemingly limitless tracts that spread out over the horizon.
