Description

When it comes to via ferrata, there are few, if any places in the world that offer better, and more via ferratas than the Dolomites of Italy.

Dating back to World War 1, several of the via ferratas found throughout the Dolomites were actually used during the war by soldiers as a means to reach the ridges more easily. And now, decades later, they are used by tourists and climbers to enjoy some of the best views in this majestic mountain range.

Full of fixed ropes, ladders, steps, bridges and vertical passages, via ferratas are a truly unique means to explore the mountains. And while they may seem, and at times feel, precarious, you can rest assured that you will be safe and properly guided every step of the way.

We offer a long list of different via ferratas you can visit in the Dolomites. That list includes the following spots.

  • Cesco Tomaselli

  • Degli Alpini

  • Ettore Bovero

  • Formenton

  • G. Olivieri Alla Punta Anna

  • Gianni Aglio

  • Giovanni Barbara

  • Giovanni Lipella

  • Kaiserjager

  • Monte Averau

  • Ra Bujela

  • Ra Gusela

  • Rene de Pol

  • Ra Pegna

  • Sci Club 18

  • Strobel

  • Terza Cengia

Each one of these via ferratas will offer you a different experience, as well as different views of the Dolomites. Furthermore, the difficulty levels are as varied as the list itself. As a result, everybody from children and families to climbing experts can have a thrilling adventure.

Enjoying a via ferrata in the Dolomites of Italy is an experience you will never forget. And if you would like to enjoy it for yourself, all you have to do is send us a request, and let’s find the right one for you!

What people are saying about this trip

Assy

The trip itself and Refaelo the guide was great and they even gave a refund for my daughter who didn't participate at last due to sickness. But All the corresponding before the trip was bad. No details were given about the ferrata and not even about the meeting point and time. It took a lot of time to get answers for my questions and sometimes didn't get any.
