Navacerrada is gorgeous all year round. But during winter, a pristine layer of snow paints everything white, giving it a special glow and unique beauty. So what a better location for this snowshoeing trip!
Join us and discover some of the most marvellous spots in Navacerrada, such as Laderas de Siete Picos as well as Pinares de Valsain.
We’ll meet at 9:00 in the morning. There, we’ll have a quick safety briefing, while learning how to use the snowshoes and poles. Thereupon our journey and the real fun begins.
Our route will follow part of the Schmid road. Then, we’ll climb up to Siete Picos. Although this is one of the most beautiful parts of the trip, getting there will depend on the weather conditions. After exploring around for a while, we’ll take a lunch break, to eat, rest and take in the dazzling sceneries that will surround us.
Later, we’ll begin our return trip snowshoeing outside the marked paths, so we can test our skills and truly enjoy the wild nature of this magical place.
If you want to join this snowshoeing trip, just send me a request. It will be my pleasure to guide you in Navacerrada, in Sierra de Guadarrama, Spain.
However, if you are looking for a different kind of trip. I also offer this Hayedo de Tejera Negra: 1-day Autumn hiking tour in Guadalajara.

Pedro was so knowledgeable about the area, and graciously answered all our questions, even those unrelated to the hike. He was very kind in picking us up from Madrid for a small fee. He also took a bunch of photos of my husband and I during the trek, which I really appreciated since those are our only pictures together from our trip to Spain. I'd definitely recommend Pedro to anyone traveling to Madrid and interested in experiencing nature outside the city.
