Aspen (2416 m) is probably the most exclusive ski resort in the world. Located 4 hours west of Denver, it has four mountains –Ajax, Buttermilk, Highlands and Snowmass– and each of them has some secret spots where there is always some fresh powder.

What should I wear?

Dress in layers, so you can adjust your clothing as needed. Start with a warm base layer and add layers as you go. It's better to be overdressed than underdressed, as it's easier to cool down than warm up. For your base layer, consider a wool or synthetic long sleeve top and bottoms. On top of that, add a fleece or down jacket, and finally, a Gore-Tex or hardshell jacket and pants.
