1-day Deerfield River Rafting in Fife Brook section

The Deerfield River runs all the way from southern Vermont through northwestern Massachusetts to the Connecticut River. From April to October, you can join us on this fun, easy whitewater rafting adventure in Massachusetts!

Suitable for families and friends, this will be the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting and a great opportunity for children to connect with nature while doing something as fun and amazing as this outdoor activity. Due to the tranquil waters of the Fife Brook section of the Deerfield River, this trip is open to children as young as 8 years of age.

We will start this exciting ten-mile rafting trip with a bang at “Hurricane Rapid”, followed by easy rapids like “Freight Train”, “Pinball” and“Sideways Splash”. And during the calm rafting sections, participants will learn about the local history of the place while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Berkshires.

During this adventure, children, as well as adults, will get to enjoy swimming and splashing as we will have the chance to get out of the boat and enjoy some exciting team water fights.

After we finish navigating this Class III stretch, we will take on the second part of this journey and encounter some really fun river rapids such as “Cold River Rapid” and “Slam Dance”.
