Join me on this adventure in Valle del Jerte, a comarca in the community of Extremadura, in Spain. If you want to gain a little experience in canyoning, then this program is the perfect chance to do it.
On this program, we’ll enjoy swimming and rappelling in Papuos, a beautiful canyon in Valle del Jerte. The starting point of the trip will be Jerte and we’ll meet at 10 am. We’ll prepare our equipment and depart to the canyon. During the descent, we’ll enjoy 5 rappels, 3 slides and 2 jumps of up to 8 meters.
This program will give us the chance to enjoy a sportive activity while exploring a breathtaking natural area. This fantastic spot is in the Garganta de los infiernos Natural Reserve, near the Sierra de Gredos. This area offers astonishing spots such as waterfalls and gorges.
The program is for beginners who want to have a wonderful time in an outdoor experience so prior experience is not necessary. However, it will be helpful to have a good level of fitness.
So, do you think this canyoning program would suit you? Don’t miss this opportunity to get experience in canyoning and make your reservation. I’ll be glad to be your guide.
Another great option to go canyoning is this program that I lead in the Hoz Somera Canyon, in Cuenca. Check it out!

Pedro was so knowledgeable about the area, and graciously answered all our questions, even those unrelated to the hike. He was very kind in picking us up from Madrid for a small fee. He also took a bunch of photos of my husband and I during the trek, which I really appreciated since those are our only pictures together from our trip to Spain. I'd definitely recommend Pedro to anyone traveling to Madrid and interested in experiencing nature outside the city.
