1-day Beginner rock climbing course in Montserrat (Vertiente Sur)

If you want to introduce yourself to the world of rock climbing, this is an unmissable opportunity. Come to Montserrat to learn the basics under our expert guidance!

Located 35km northwest of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Montserrat is a multi-peak massif that belongs to the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. Mainly made of limestone, some of these blunted spires rise up to 1,200m and host climbing routes for all levels.

On this day course, we will visit the southern face of Montserrat (Vertiente Sur), famous for the excellent quality of its rock and for having many routes equipped with parabolts. Our goal is that you learn the following basic skills: Figure eight, Belaying devices, Top Rope belaying, Rappelling and Climbing gestures. In addition, this program is an opportunity to meet new people and share a passion for nature and vertical walls!

Please keep in mind that my course does not require previous experience. However, it is recommended to have a good fitness level or to have climbed on an indoor wall at some time. If you practice sports regularly, you are prepared.
