Description

Get ready for a dazzling hike along the beautiful Hayedo de la Pedrosa, Spain. Join me for a one-day adventure to this incredible spot.

Hayedo de la Pedrosa is a wonderful place beautiful all year round. It is the least famous hayedo, but just as stunning as the other ones and less crowded. And autumn is definitely the best season to visit with hundreds of different colors on the many trees. The most common is the beech, but there are also birches, servales, oaks, yews, heather and blueberries. You won’t be able to stop taking pictures!

On this hiking day, we’ll meet at Nuevos Ministerios early in the morning. Then we’ll ride towards Riaza and Puerto de la Quesera and enter our road. From there, we’ll hike towards Peña de la Silla peak for breathtaking views of the hayedo, the Riofrío dam and the Castilian plateau.

This is an easy and relaxing hike with time to enjoy the views, the flora, fauna and ecosystems. The whole route covers 12 kilometers. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience or fitness level.

Ready for a stunning autumn hike? Then book your trip now and get ready to fall in love with the Spanish landscapes.

What people are saying about Pedro

Raquel

Pedro was so knowledgeable about the area, and graciously answered all our questions, even those unrelated to the hike. He was very kind in picking us up from Madrid for a small fee. He also took a bunch of photos of my husband and I during the trek, which I really appreciated since those are our only pictures together from our trip to Spain. I'd definitely recommend Pedro to anyone traveling to Madrid and interested in experiencing nature outside the city.
