Description
This 1-day Ailefroide rock climbing tour will take you up to one of the most beautiful climbing spots in France.
Ailefroide (1515 m) mountain is located in the Ecrins massif, in the High Dauphiné Alps. Together with Pelvoux (3946 m) they form the second biggest French mountaineering area after Chamonix. And among climbers around the world it's a renowned spot for its beautiful natural scenery.
So I'll take you one of its most popular and varied routes: Ecrins Total. This 5c, 250 m route has it all: Compact and quality granite to hold from, hard longs and a beautiful scenery. So we'll start early in the morning to avoid the crowds and you'll discover an amazing spot.
But Ailefroide has 67 routes from 100 up to 500m high, levels 4c/5a up to 6c/7a. So if you're looking for something different, let me know and I'll guide you to it. Just remember to ask for the price, because it varies depending on the route. Plus, the town is a cozy and friendly place to stay a few days, so I can take you to different routes each day.

This program is available for kids starting at 10 years old. All minors must be accompanied by a parent.
It is mandatory to bring your national identity card or your valid passport.
Recommended material:
- Sunglasses.
- Helmet.
- Jacket or warm sweater.
- Lightweight but solid pants.
- A pair of sneakers or shoes suitable for walking on trails to approach the cliff.
- Climbing shoes.
- Harness.
- A small backpack (20 to 40 l). The bag can be mounted in the track according to the itinerary.
- Some snacks.
