Cultural celebrations

Enjoy, sing, dance and get mixed with locals in one of its many cultural events. There are celebrations throughout the year, from the Easter processions to the famous "Feria de Málaga", which takes place in August.

Gastronomy

Have a drink on the beach and ask for a malagueña fry, in which you can't miss the anchovies. For those who prefer the spoon, we suggest the ajo-blanco, the Antequera soup or the gazpachuelo.

Great guides!

After the pandemic delayed our planned trip to Spain, along with our climbing day at El Chorro, we lost our money on a few pre-paid tourist activities. Unlike other businesses, Explore Share and our tremendous guide honoured our reservation and the magical day of climbing at El Chorro went off without a hitch! Our guide, Antonio, was communicative, and when we arrived ready to climb, he had everything we needed to ensure we would have a fun and safe outing. There is truly nothing quite like clipping into an anchor and looking out over the sun-seared valley from the cliffs of El Chorro. Antonio was patient with us as we re-found our climbing technique, and instructed us on rope protocol and beta when necessary. I recommend anyone who wants a climbing guide to do it with Explore Share. -Nick

Jakob

Excellent guide service. David was really good with the kids (6 and 9 years old) and new how and how much to challenge them. We had a wonderful day.
