At 1,085 meters, it towers over the city of Cape Town and is named after its distinctive flat shape which resembles a table top. What should I know about Rock Climbing Table Mountain?
This is a trad climbing area and the climbs are multi-pitch. Arrow Final is a good beginner climb close to the summit which combines some abseiling too. The Integral Ascent is probably the most comprehensive and takes you all along the north face of the mountain. You’ll need some serious endurance to take this on. Jacob’s Ladder is for the more adventurous, this climb is clean and you’ll get lots of air. You’ll also get amazing views.
