What should I know about Rock Climbing Argentina?
Located in southern South America, Argentina is a beautiful, vast and diverse country, with many different landscapes and climates. Vibrant and busy Buenos Aires seems a world away from the isolation and remoteness of Patagonia in the south of the country, or the magical Quebrada de Humahuaca in the north. Endless plains and huge farms in the Pampa, in the center of the country, and breathtaking peaks in the Andes, make for a truly unique and diverse scenery. Argentina is famous for its high-quality red meat, so don’t miss out on an authentic asado or a good steak! The sunny province of Mendoza is well-known for its Malbec wine, with many great winerys and beautiful vineyards to visit.

Merlin was a fabulous guide! Not only is he a super accomplished climber, but he is also personable and fun to spend the day with. We have some climbing experience, and Merlin selected sport climbing that was a fun challenge for our skill level. We 100% recommend him as a guide.

Craig was a phenomenal guide for the half-day we spent climbing. It had been a few months since I had last climbed and Craig was very attentive and paid a lot of attention to take me to a spot I would feel comfortable with. We had a great time climbing a lot of single pitch routes and just going over basics to make sure I knew what I was doing. I would highly recommend going with Craig if you have any interest in climbing in the area.

Amazing experience with Craig, he brought me and a friend of mine at la ventana to do beginner routes, teaching us how to climb while enjoying breathtaking view. Greatly recommend.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
