Guamote, Ecuador

I lost my heart in the Ecuadorian Andes 10 years ago. I´m living in a small town, called Guamote, deep into the Andean Mountains. Sharing the wonderful nature, in an authentic way, with foreign visitors makes, me happy.
Since 2 years ago I´m an official licensed guide of Ecuador, recognized by the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador.
Please contact me if you want to have an authentic, but adventurous experience in the Ecuadorian Andean mountains. Perfect to get used to the height or just to have fun.

Chimborazo National Park Hike and Bike in Ecuador

Chimborazo is the highest point in Ecuador and on this amazing volcano, we will first hike to Condor Lake at 5.100 masl (16,700 ft), and from there descend on our mountain bikes! We will also have the chance to visit Balbanera church in Colta and catch sight of the amazing Andean flora and fauna on the way.

The trip was amazing! We climbed to 5000m high to the second refuge of the volcano where you get an amazing view on the valley. After we rode down the volcano with our guide and passed by many vicunas and even saw a newborn alpaca in a farm. Byron our guide was extremely kind and patient with us. The trails to go down the volcano can be a bit difficult but we took our time. Highly recommended trip!
