Like most Mountains Guides and outdoors addicts, I'm not from the mountains, but from the North East of France where fog and mud are more common. Since my childhood, I dreamed of climbing, mountaineering, and skiing. My life has been driven by playing in the natural environment, discovering what's out there, and traveling.
After graduation as a sports teacher, I moved to the Alps and graduated as a ski patrol and trekking leader mtb guide. These professional activities brought me a strong knowledge of the snow/alpine environment and allowed me to discover European mountains and trails with groups of clients. My time off was dedicated to rock climbing and mountaineering.
A few years later the natural evolution has been to take the UIAGM/ IFMGA mountain guide qualification, to get more technical knowledge, and the ability to bring people to discover mountains higher and further.
I'm now based in Morzine, a quiet mountain village 1 hour from Chamonix, where I spend wintertime working for the ski patrol and also as a ski guide (off-piste skiing and ski touring) with a slice of ice climbing, and summers as a full-time mountain guide, from canyoning to mountaineering ascents. Spring and fall time are for traveling (Norway & Iceland are awesome for spring skiing, Jordan is great for rock climbing late October.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
