Peter

I have been working in the mountains since 2001. I worked as a mountain porter for many mountain huts in the Low and High Tatra Mountains in Slovakia. Since 2005, I have been working as a local guide and tour leader for several English, German and Dutch tour operators.
In 2016 I became an UIMLA-certified International Mountain Leader. I like to walk mountain ridges and explore old hidden paths of all Slovak, Czech and Polish mountains. You can often find me guiding a via ferrata tour.
During the winter I enjoy ski mountaineering and hut to hut traverses in Slovakia and Austria, skiing down steep couloirs, practicing crosscountry skiing on groomed tracks and on backcountry terrain as well.
