I have always loved just being outside, taking my time to be there and observe, to grasp the instants of simple and essential happiness.
In 2006, my thirst for large spaces led me for a year to a corner of the world which sings mystery and breathes history: the Kerguelen islands. As a scientist, I discovered there a greatly wild universe. I had the chance to live in the rhythm of an overflowing Nature, observing throughout the day the relentless progress of the life cycle of many animal and vegetal species in the island. A big human adventure that has forged ties of strong friendships. Mocking the passing time and the usual flow of activity. As a visitor I took with me warm and beautiful memories of these desolated islands.
Returning, I finished my engineering studies and I started a PhD. This period was marked in parallel by an intense mountain practice and by some rough travels (India, Madagascar, crossing the Alps by bike...).
I have always loved making my friends discover this mountain universe, and each time it's an immense happiness to share these moments. The mountain often arouses big and beautiful emotions, a mixture of awe and wonder that result sometimes in the birth of true passions. Currently organised between science and the mountain, I hope to continue with you this beautiful sharing through my guide profession.
Feet on the ground and head in the stars... Or the other way around?

We spent 6 days in full sun touring in the Queyras around Monte Viso. Olivier guided us from hut to hut expertly, efficiently and sympathetically - given our ages and blisters. Route selection kept us challenged but always created opportunities for enjoying fabulous vistas, appreciating the solitude and, of course, excellent descents. Olivier was able to keep us going in a friendly and thoroughly professional manner and it was a real pleasure to ski with him.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
