Born in 1973 in Athens, Greece. At the age of 15 he realized that he had enough of the big city life and took off to the mountains, which from then on until today he calls his home.
His first visit to the Mont Blanc area and the Alps was at 1993, since then he spent most of the time in the Alps guiding and enjoying granite, ice and snow by practising all the different mountain disciplines.
Nikos became an UIAGM Mountain Guide in 2004, but for the past 23 years his appetite for climbing and skiing has only increased and he never gets enough of it.
Languages: Nikos speaks fluent Greek and English. He also falters words in Italian, French, Norwegian, soon in German too.
Trips: Himalayas, Pamir and many other mountain regions in Asia and of course the European Alps and the Dolomites.
Likes: Solid rock, thick ice, deep powder, old wine, fresh food.
Dislikes: Rush hours, big crowds, rude people, running to catch the last lift.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
