Argentine professional Mountain Guide (AAGM-PNL)
I was born in the Andes area, North Patagonia, and I am a certified guide from the Argentina Mountain Guides Association.
I specialize in guided tours to Lanin volcano, by the normal route or other alternative routes and I also have the authorization of Lanin National Park since 2003. I have done between 30 and 40 ascents to Lanin per season, which gives me the experience and security to plan the safest programs with the best services.
In addition to Lanin, I also specialize in guided tours to Domuyo and Tromen volcanos, and traverses in the San Martin de los Andes area.
I am also an Ecomed lifeguard, and I have done the rescue courses in a leadership and natural environment.

My rating for the winter ascent of Lanin volcano is 10/10 in every possible aspect. Luis organized perfectly well the whole ascent and assembled a great team of guides (Ramiro, Gabriel and Jonathan) who came with him to the mountain. The day before, we met in San Martin to check the equipment. On day one, after the hike up to the refuge, we went over the techniques and gear needed for the summit day (self-arrest, avalanche safety equipment, etc.). Summit day is demanding, but exceptional! The views from the summit include Villarica, Llaima and Copahue volcanoes to the north, and Tronador, Puntiagudo and Osorno to the south. Booking through Explore-Share was very smooth and easy, the customer service is the best!
