I was born and raised in the countryside, a perfect playground to develop a love for outdoors, and especially for the mountain.
I started to explore the mountains with my father, doing some hiking in the nearby Dolomites.
During the army time i was part of the athletes division for trail running and biathlon, and during rest period from the races i was part of the Army rescue team.
I became a climbing instructor (also teaching to the children) a lot of years ago, and now I am a certified UIMLA guide.
During the university time, I worked like a photographer and copywriter for some Italian outdoor sports magazines.
Work and leisure have taken me to many different countries like Nepal,Tibet,China and many other mountain ranges around the world, but the Dolomites remain at the first place in my heart! In the mountains I have ranged countless paths, and many rock and ice climbing routes and ski trips in the Alps.
In my life I have applied myself in various sports, like ski mountaineering, marathon and many others. In the last 10 years I have also done some Ironman races in full and over 20 of half distance.
When I'm not working in the mountains I stay in Trieste with my wife and my child. Trieste is a beautiful city by the Adriatic Sea, sourrounded by different wild landscapes to explore.
Since my arrival in Trieste I have been an active member of the Mountain Search and Rescue team as a technician.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
