I was born and raised in the countryside, an ideal playground to develop my love for the outdoors, especially the mountains. My journey began exploring the nearby Dolomites with my father, hiking and discovering the region's beauty.

During my time in the Army, I was part of the athletes’ division for trail running and biathlon, and in between races, I served on the Army rescue team. Later, I became a climbing instructor, even teaching children, and I’m now a certified UIMLA guide.

While studying at university, I worked as a photographer and copywriter for Italian outdoor sports magazines like PlanetMountain, ALP, and Pareti. Work and leisure have taken me to many different countries, from Nepal to Tibet and China, exploring mountain ranges worldwide. However, the Dolomites hold the top place in my heart. In the Alps, I’ve traversed countless paths, tackled rock and ice climbing routes, and embarked on numerous ski trips, opening new routes and making ice-climbing ascents.

Throughout my life, I’ve embraced various sports like ski mountaineering, marathon, and trail running. I’ve also completed three Ironman races (in Frankfurt, Nice, and Klagenfurt) and over 20 half-distance races. Recently, I’ve focused on long-distance trail running, completing the UTMB in 2019 and currently preparing for the next edition.

When I'm not guiding in the Dolomites, I live in a small village in the Alps near the Austrian border (Carnia), where I volunteer with the local rescue station as a technician and instructor for new team members.

Mountains remain the center of my life.
