IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide from Ecuador.
I grew up in Antisana volcano region, and as a kid I already did many hiking and ascents in the area.
I first ascended Cotopaxi in 1985, when I was 12 years old, and since then my life spins around mountaineering. At 17 I started my formation as mountain guide, and in 2008 I became the third IFMGA certified guide in Ecuador.
I participated as member and guide in many expeditions around Ecuador and South America, some of them in rare routes, and making first ascents.
From 2007 to 2009 I was director of ASEGUIM’s mountain guide school.
I speak Spanish, English and Quichua (native Inca language), and love to guide people to discover the mountains in my country.
