I was born in Sweden 1978 where I had my first skiing experience some six years later. My passion for theoretical physics brought me to Turin/Italy in the early 00’s and when not working I have spent endless hours skiing and climbing in the surroundings of Turin. I have now changed my physics and mathematic research to high-tech garments, climbing equipment and fat skis and I'm a full time working UIAGM/IFMGA/IVBV/SBO mountain guide. I would be more then happy to share my passion for the mountains with you or why not combining it with a deeper discussion about the origin of the Universe.
I hold the UIAGM/IFMGA/IVBV/SBO Mountain Guide qualification. I climbed extensively throughout the French, Swiss and Italian Alps such as the North Faces of The Eiger, Matterhorn, Droites, Courtes, Italian Face of Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi, Ailefroide, Piz Morteratsch, etc. Having spent several winter seasons climbing on ice falls throughout the European Alps I have a background of hard ice climbing including numerous ascents of grade 5 and higher.
An apprenticeship of traveling and visiting climbing venues outside the Western Alps such as Patagonia, Yosemite, Ben Nevis, High Tatra, Lofoten Islands. Ski Touring experience throughout the European Alps and the Scandinavian mountains. I completed the Patrouille de Glacier (PDG) in 2014. I hold a Ph.D in theoretical physics and M.Sc in engineering physics.
