My name is André Bernard and I am a mountain guide (IFMGA certified) and rock climbing instructor from Marseille.
Since I was 12 years old, I have been passionate about mountains and rock climbing. With the help of several experienced instructors and guides, I became an expert in the activity and continued my training in Les Calanques. Exploring this amazing massif is one of the things that I love the most!
I have been actively involved in the creation of the Calanques National Park and have supported the work of professional guides in the area. In 2011, I founded the Bureau des Guides des Calanques/Cassis, which is focused on rock climbing, hiking, canyoning, mountaineering, and mountain biking and oriented to environmental education.

Andre was amazing! He picked a route that suited our abilities, was courteous and gave as clear instruction as possible given the language barrier (neither my partner nor I speak much French, but it worked out just fine). My partner and I had a wonderful and memorable time. Our climb was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to France. Thank you! I would book him again as a guide any time!

Andre was simply amazing! His communication was excellent. He customized our trip exactly to our specifications. His climbing and guiding skills are elite! The climbing in Les Calanques is out of this world! I have never seen anything so beautiful while climbing! I hope that I have the chance to go back one day. If I do, I will definitely seek out Andre again! He made the trip spectacular! I definitely recommend Andre and climbing in Les Calanques!
