Piz Bernina is the highest peak in the Eastern Alps. Lying at 4048 meters, it is also the highest mountain in the Bernina Range. It is located south of Pontresina and near the popular resort of St Moritz. The finest route in the whole massif is the Biancograt, an impressive knife-edge ridge on the north side of the Piz Bernina. During this ascent you will get to see the Swiss-Italian Alps spectacular scenery and you may also climb Piz Palü (3905 m). So if you are ready to climb a 4-thousander in the Alps, take your pick from our selection of tours below! Explore-Share.com only promotes mountain trips led by certified guides.

Renzo is a considerate, skilful guide and a good companion. Highly recommended. Under the conditions we climbed in (i.e. warm and cloudy) the route is less highly rated. The track through the "Eck" was much more demanding than Goedecke suggests in his book "4000er" and I would only attempt it again earlier in the year. Renzo took loads of photos so that was good. Grazie Mille!

Hi everybody. It is very difficult from me to give you review. The guide was not from Peakshunters, but from Guide Alpine Bormio. I had a big problem with my stomack, so we decided to go to Piz Monteratsch. The weather was terrible : very cold, snowy and foggy, so it was fortunate not to be in Biancograt and I cannot say what was the rating of this route. But generally, guide Federico was nice, he had patiency with me and my problems. But he was with me only 1,5 day, not two, so what about any discount for me? And special thanks to Gauthier, he was interested about me and my preferencies. Have a nice time!
