Climbing Allalinhorn: Top Outdoor Adventures Awaiting You

Allalinhorn can be climbed in one to two days departing from Saas-Fee. To make the most of your trip here, you could combine this climb with an ascent of  Weissmies (4017 m) and Alphubel (4,206m). Although these are all beginner climbs they are not a walk in the park. It’s essential that you embark on these climbs with a good level of fitness and the help of an experienced and certified guide. 

**Excellent first ascent **

There are some seriously impressive mountains in the alps, but climbing to the summit of Matterhorn is not achievable for everyone. If you’re just getting started with mountain climbing Allalinhorn is a great place to cut your teeth.

Saas Fee

Right next to Allalinhorn, you’ll find the resort town of Saas-Fee, your gateway to all things mountains. It’s also a charming spot in its own right. Explore the traditional village, try some delicious alpine food and relax in one of the town’s five spas.

Awesome scenery

The landscapes here are picture-perfect. You won’t get tired of the sight of rugged snowcapped mountains. But if you do, you’ll be able to enjoy other stunning scenery, like aquamarine blue lakes, green rolling hills, and lush forests.

Winters are freezing with average temperatures of around -3°C. The summers are cold with average temperatures sitting at around 7°C.
