Mount Jalovec is famous for its beauty, and although not the highest in the region, it is not altogether an easy mountain to climb. Its scarce vegetation and rocky faces make it a nice challenge and all routes require some rock climbing skills. The easiest is the southern route, and the most scenic are the northern routes starting from the Tamar Valley. However, the northern routes are also the most difficult to climb. Going with an experienced guide will guarantee that you are safe and that you take the best route up according to your skills and level.
