The Lyngen Alps form a fantastic mountain range in northwestern Troms, Norway. They cross Lyngen, Balsfjord and Sytorfjord with a total length of 90 kilometers. The mountains dominate the landscape in the entire Lyngen peninsula, making the Lyngen Alps a sort of “mecca” for ice climbers.
