Forming a natural northern border with France and Andorra, the knife-like mountain range of the Pyrenees stretches 3,000 meters from north to south. It connects the three great mountains of the Mig (2,995 meters), the North Besiberri (3,008 meters), and the South Besiberri (3,023 meters). The Pyrenees is geologically older than the neighbouring mountain range of the Alps, having been created approximately 100-150 million years ago.
