Incredible experience, Stavros was the perfect guide for such an adventure!

We met Stavros the night before our summit of Mytikas in Refuge A. Stavros briefed us on what to expect for the next day, answered any questions we had and fitted us with our helmets and harnesses so we could be ready for the morning. We set off at 6:15am with headlamps and began our adventure. Stavros guided us to a vantage point where we could enjoy the beautiful sunrise. He provided us with interesting information about the area and the mountain throughout each section. When we reached Skala it was time to put on our helmets, harnesses and be roped together to summit Mytikas. This final section was daunting but with the equipment provided and clear guidance being provided by Stavros we successfully reached the top. I would not have attempted to reach the summit without a guide, but Stavros directed us clearly and safely, allowing us to accomplish our goal. It was worth it in the end as the view from the top was breathtaking. I would highly recommend booking Stavros as your guide to summit Mytikas. He is very knowledgeable, gives clear instructions, makes you feel safe and is good fun to be with! We had a fantastic day out which would not have been possible without Stavros and will be a great memory for years to come. When we arrived back to the Refuge we had a celebratory beer with Stavros to finish off an exciting day.

Stavros is a gem. He was an excellent guide from start to finish. He communicated with me regularly and effectively from the moment I made the reservation. He was helpful and provided useful information in advance of the hike. During the hike, he was a great source of information about Mount Olympus, and all the nuances of the course we would take. He took good care of me from the moment we met and until the very end when he dropped me off at my car. During the hike he made sure we maintained a great pace and exercised an appropriate level of caution to keep us both safe throughout. I cannot say enough good things about him and of the entire experience. I would make this hike with Stavros again and recommend the hike to any and all who want to visit the gods.

What an amazing trip. It was truly an experience I will never forget and always cherish. The whole trip went exactly according to the itinerary. Stavros is not only very professional but also a wonderful person to spend time with. I had never climbed a mountain before and Stavros made me feel very safe and his instructions were always clear and to the point. I learned a lot from the experience and will without a doubt do it again. Mt Olympus is simply sublime. It is a challenge to make it to Mytikas but with Stavros' guidance it is attainable and well worth the sore legs after. Thank you so much!!!!
