Únete a mí para un espectacular programa de esquí de travesía de 9 días en los Alpes de Lyngen, en el norte de Noruega. Abril es un momento ideal para este recorrido, ya que los días son muy largos; y mayo es incluso mejor, ya que no se pone oscuro en absoluto. A lo largo de estos meses, la nieve sigue siendo polvorienta, perfecta para nuestra aventura.

Primero, viajaremos desde Zurich hasta Tromso. Luego, conduciremos hacia Olderdalen, donde nos espera nuestra cómoda y acogedora cabaña (¡incluyendo sauna!).

Desde el día 2, guiaré por diferentes rutas entre las innumerables pendientes en los Alpes de Lyngen y los Alpes de Kafjord, en el lado este del Lyngenfjord. Algunas de las opciones incluyen:

Los clásicos: Storhaugen (1141m), Sorbmegaisa (1288m), Fastalstinden (1275m)
Los tesoros ocultos: Svartfjellet (1162m), Nordmannviktinden (1355m) y Punkt (1243m)
Los sin nombre: muchos grandes picos aún no han recibido un nombre

También existe la opción de ir de excursión a la isla Uløya con un descenso impresionante hacia el mar, y a la isla Arnøya con la vista del infinito mar polar.

En el día 9, regresamos a Tromso y volamos de regreso a casa.

El terreno en este recorrido consiste en pendientes amplias y condiciones de esquí fáciles. Las ascensiones son normalmente entre 3 y 5 horas. Necesitarás equipamiento de esquí de travesía normal adecuado para crampones y LVS. Grupos son entre 2 y 6 huéspedes.

Desayuno y cena serán preparados por Ulrica en la cabaña. El precio también incluye el vuelo Zurich-Tromso, y regreso. Partir desde aeropuertos alemanes o austriacos es posible bajo petición. Las reservas anticipadas podrían ser elegibles para boletos de clase de negocios, sujeto a disponibilidad.

Este es un precio especial para reservas solicitadas antes del 19 de noviembre de 2017. Para reservas solicitadas más tarde el precio es CHF 3280.- por persona. Finalmente, seguro de cancelación es obligatorio.

I became a professional mountain guide after discovering that mountains and wild nature meant the life to me. In 1983 I completed my studies and started an amazing journey. I have been constantly on the road ever since, up in the Alps and on mountains and trekking areas on every continent.

Before I started taking guests on tours, my wife Ulrica was my climbing partner. Together, we spent many autumns in the Klausenpass climbing walls. After our daughter Heidi was born, she started coming along on our tours around the world. Later, our son Thomas and daughter Christina would join us. Even later, our granddaugther Jana came into our lives. All three of our children have become mountaineers as well. I am proud to say that world-strolling is in their blood too.

Having led groups in the Alps and other parts of the world for a long time, I witnessed how the alpine mountain landscape changed over the years. When I started off, we had to cook in the huts for ourselves. We now see suites, whirpools and saunas. Technical difficulties up in the mountain are mitigated with chains and wire ropes - a new way to live the mountain in a time-saving manner. Climbing routes that were inaccessible before have now been made open for the general public.

My heart lives for having more and more original natural experiences. This is the kind of experiences that have made us addicted to the mountain. I continue to strive for taking my guests off the beaten and better-known tracks. This is my commitment to you. I hope you can join me soon!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
