Descripción

Descubre la montaña de 2,416 metros de altura del Cerro Vespignani donde te enfrentarás a un terreno exigente y variado rodeado de vistas hermosas de la naturaleza virgen de la Patagonia. Únete a un guía de montaña certificado y acepta el desafío mientras esquías a través del excepcional terreno cubierto de nieve en este empinado descenso desde la cumbre.

Prepárate para un emocionante comienzo de nuestra aventura mientras salimos temprano en la mañana desde El Chaltén y nos embarcamos en nuestro viaje de 37 km hacia el Lago del Desierto.

Luego, emprenderemos una caminata de aproximación hacia el Glaciar Huemul, navegando a través del encantador bosque de Lengas. El sendero nos lleva a una impresionante laguna glaciar. Una vez que disfrutamos de la vista, continuaremos hasta que finalmente alcancemos la nieve prístina. Desde aquí, nos pondremos nuestros esquís de travesía y continuaremos nuestro viaje hacia la cumbre.

Pon a prueba tus límites mientras escalas los ascensos pronunciados, las áreas con grietas y el terreno resbaladizo. Después de finalmente conquistar la cima y tomar un respiro muy necesario, podrás admirar la increíble vista desde esta cumbre imponente rodeada de hielo azul de glaciares resplandeciendo en el sol, y ríos tallando su camino a través de los valles allá abajo.

Una emocionante variedad de descensos te esperará en medio de este paisaje salvajemente impresionante, mostrando vistas de los colosales centinelas de granito y la vasta capa de hielo continental.

My name is Martin and people call me “Jimmy”. I live in the Chaltén where I work as a mountain guide. In Patagonia, I ascended the west face of Cerro Torre, “vía Ragnni di Lecco”; the Fitz Roy and the Poincenot needle. I have also climbed high mountains in the north of Argentina and Peru.
I have been a trekking guide since 2001 and UIAGM mountain guide since 2008. My wife is mountain guide too, and we organise together expeditions and traverses of the Southern Patagonian Icefield.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
