En esta emocionante aventura, me gustaría guiarte a la cumbre del hermoso pico Balaitous (3,144m).
Ubicado en los Pirineos de España, en la provincia de Huesca, el pico Balaitous es una montaña sensacional. Posee siete diferentes aristas, y todas ellas merecen ser vistas y exploradas. Una de las primeras montañas que ves al llegar desde el océano Atlántico, las vistas que obtienes desde este pico son increíbles. Este pico también descansa en la frontera entre España y Francia.
Hay diferentes rutas que podemos tomar para el ascenso al pico Balaitous. Podemos escalar a través de los lagos glaciares de Arriel y la gran Diagonal. También hay una ruta que pasa por el glaciar Neus desde el valle de Azun. Sin embargo, la ruta más común es la que pasa por el refugio de Respoumuso (2,133m). Desde allí accederemos al paso de La Torre. La brecha es una zona pintoresca que te permitirá moverte libremente sobre la superficie de granito del pico.
Aunque no es un ascenso técnicamente difícil, la subida al Balaitous sigue siendo bastante desafiante porque la escalada es muy exigente físicamente. Como resultado, los participantes en este programa deben estar en buena condición física.

Juan Carlos was an exceptional guide and quite a great help at different points throughout the trip. When my primary guide couldn’t make it, Juan Carlos stepped up. He helped me get a more-fitting set of crampons for the trip, he helped along the route, and he accommodated when I asked to break, move faster, or divert. Many guides I’ve had in the passed did what they wanted. He respected my experience and my asks. This was a great trip, we pushed through the questionable weather, and made it to the summit.

I succesfully climbed Vignemale with David even if i had vertigo. David is very experienced and was able to bring me to the summit and back without a scratch. Thank you , amazing experience I highly recommend.

A HUGE thank you for all your help in the build up to our Monte Perdido attempt yesterday! Our guide Luis (from Javier's team) was absolutely brilliant and helped us reach the summit unscathed (despite the snowy conditions - which were apparently not ideal for amateurs!).

Luis was the guide Javier organised. He was very professional, guided us to the top (and back) seamlessly, set a pace that suited both of us. He also pointed out various points of interest. Would definitely recommend Luis. Also, Javier was very helpfull in providing information for another area I was visiting.
